Cross Spraddle Creek to climb the side of a long draw and crest the side onto a high open meadow with spectacular Colorado wide-open views. At 10,000 ft, the natural mountain spring bubbles up cold and crisp. Flop down on your belly and take a long drink for instant brain freeze. Not for the tenderfoot, this ride doesn't have a short way back to the ranch. You are in the saddle approximately 3 hours. Kids generally do much better than the adults. You needn't worry about those resilient little buckaroos.
